Best Tutor I’ve ever had in my life
Aaron, 22 lessons with AdityaAditya, or Adi, is hands down the most amazing tutor I’ve had on Wyzant's platform thus far. He explains concepts extremely well. He makes sure you understand them. He doesn’t see you a client or customer; he sees you as his friend. I’ve had experiences in the past where tutors are just wanting to run out the clock but Adi is really different. He’s not here to just make money. He’s here to help and see people succeed. He’s so knowledgeable of many topics. He goes out of his way to give you...

He’s not here to just make money. He’s here to help and see people succeed. He’s so knowledgeable of many topics. He goes out of his way to give you extra material. He’s not like other tutors. I honestly wish I could clone him because he truly is that amazing. To me, he is the best tutor I’ve ever had (and I’ve had A LOT). I really believe there will honestly be no one like him on Wyzant's platform. I’ve already had multiple sessions with him and I feel so much better. I really could not have gotten this far in my semester without him. So please do yourself a favor and give him one chance. I promise you will not regret it at all.

I tutor a wide variety of subjects (chemistry, math, SAT/ACT, SAT subject test prep) online.
Reach out and let's have a chat about your goals and how we can work together to achieve them! I promise you that it only gets better from here. :)

Algebra 1,
Algebra 1
Algebra 1 is one of my favorite subjects, and the first subject where I was introduced to more intricate aspects of mathematics. I found that my performance in algebra went hand-in-hand with my understanding of the methods and concepts being taught--not only what they are, but how they came to be. As a tutor, I aim to make students well-rounded in mathematics. I intend not only to provide them with ample practice and assistance, but also guide them to understanding of why the methods work as they do. This way, students will retain the information for much longer--useful given how integral a working knowledge of mathematics is in this day and age.
Algebra 2,
Algebra 2
With numerous hours of tutoring experience--both privately and at the academic center at UC Irvine--I have come to truly enjoy assisting students not only achieve their academic goals, but also develop passions for the subject, including Algebra 2. I aim to assist students by not only showing students how to solve problems, but understand the concepts behind the methods and tools they are being directed to use. I have found through personal experience and seeing the results of my students that a firm understanding of the concepts helps one retain the information longer and improve their performance.
Calculus,
Calculus
Over time, I have come to love mathematics, and I see it more as an art than some hard science. The beauty in and mathematics is something I came to see only thanks to a passionate math teacher. As a tutor, therefore, I hope not only to make learning calculus easy and doable, but also help students develop at least an appreciation for the subject itself.
Chemistry,
Chemistry
As a chemistry major, I came to love the understanding of how our world works, what it is composed of, and how we can live. After all, our bodies exist only in so far as heavy elements exist. As a tutor, I desire to help others discover the beauty and utility of chemistry, develop a firm mastery over the subject, that I was able to acquire.
Prealgebra,
Prealgebra
Throughout my time tutoring, I have found that students learn more and perform better when they have ample practice coupled with a firm, basic understand of the course material. As a tutor, I aim to make learning math fun and not only help students excel, but also nurture a passion for the subject.
Precalculus
Precalculus
As a math major, I understand how math can, at times, be a challenging field of study. However, this is often because students are often taught the methods and techniques without being told how those methods came to be, or why they are true and work as they do. As a tutor, I intend to help students not only excel in their course, but also develop a firm conceptual understanding of the course material. This conceptual foundation will serve them well in the course and beyond as they take calculus and other such mathematics courses.

I received a perfect 36 in the math section of the ACT. I know how to conquer the test. I've trained, and I've succeed. And now, I want to guide you and share with you the secrets and techniques that helped me achieve my dream math score. Do you have a 30+ math score? We're onto "Project 36": let's work to bring that score to a 35 or 36! Sub-30 score? No worries, we'll bring it up either way. Whatever it is, I guarantee an improvement. Let's work together and bring up that score!

Knowledgeable and approachable
I found Aditya at the last minute on this site and I am so glad I chose him. My son does not like working with tutors but Aditya made him feel very comfortable. As a result, My son's score has already improved and I am hopeful he can raise it substantially before semester's end.

Excellent tutor.
We recommend him highly. My son says he is the finest tutor he has ever worked with. He made complex topics clear and comprehensible. I was instructed to write a certain number of characters for this review, so hopefully this additional wording will be sufficient

Adi does a great job explaining things in terms I can understand. He also does a great job making sure that I am understanding what he's saying. If we can't resolve a problem he will try to work it after the session and message me the results.
